Data You Give Us Directly
Search Queries
A name or case number entered into a search tool is sent directly to the outside company operating that tool. The provider processes the query and supplies its results. We do not keep or log those search terms on our systems.
Messages and Contact Submissions
We retain an email sent to us as needed to review and answer it. The message remains within our organization unless disclosure is required by law.
Data We Gather Automatically
Our servers automatically receive limited technical details whenever a page loads:
- The IP address assigned to your device
- Which browser you are using and its version
- Your device type and operating system
- The pages you visited and how long you stayed on each
- The site that sent you here, if any
- Timestamps for each page view
Cookies and Analytics
Cookies are small files placed on a device. They and analytics services help produce aggregate information about traffic, popular pages, and where visits end. Browser controls can block cookies, although doing so may change how parts of the site function.
What We Do With This Data
- Keeping the site up, running, and loading quickly
- Sending your search requests to the right partner service
- Figuring out which pages people find useful and which need work
- Tracking down and fixing technical issues
- Showing ads that may line up with your interests
No Court-Record Data on File
No database of court dockets or personal case information is hosted, maintained, compiled, or sold here. The site identifies where Limestone County records are held, including the County Clerk, District Clerk, trial courts, and Texas search services. It is not a consumer reporting agency under the Fair Credit Reporting Act, and visitor information is not assembled into consumer reports or third-party case profiles.
Third-Party Search Partners
Outside companies operate the embedded search tools. Their privacy policies, retention periods, and sharing rules govern information entered there. We do not control those practices, so review the named provider's policy before submitting a query.
Links to Other Websites
Links may lead to Limestone County clerk pages, Texas court portals, legal-aid groups, or outside search tools. A destination's privacy policy applies after the link opens. Read that policy before providing personal information.
Some advertising companies may use their own systems to track activity across websites for targeted advertising.
Who Might See Your Data
Personal data is not sold. Limited information may still be available to:
- Search partners that handle queries you run on our site
- Analytics services we use to track traffic and performance
- Ad networks that place ads on our pages
- Law enforcement or government bodies when a valid legal order requires it
How We Protect Your Data
Standard safeguards are used for information we collect, but no internet system is completely secure. Reasonable protection does not amount to a guarantee that a breach can never occur.
Users Under 18
The site is intended for adults and does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone younger than 18. If a minor appears to have provided data, contact us so it can be removed.
Your Data Rights
Rights can vary by residence and by the data involved. Texas consumer-protection provisions may apply in some circumstances. The Texas Public Information Act, Government Code Chapter 552, concerns public information held by governmental bodies, while Texas Rule of Judicial Administration 12 provides a separate process for judicial administrative records. Neither law turns this private site into a government record custodian. At a minimum, you can:
- Ask for a copy of what we have on file about you
- Have us fix information that is wrong
- Request that we erase your data
- Opt out of certain kinds of data processing
Updates to This Policy
